Each year, countless lives are affected in some way by breast cancer. As we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, we’re raising our glasses to these amazing wineries that donate part of their profits towards various breast cancer research and care facilities. Whether you fancy rosé, cabernet, or chardonnay, there’s sure to be a wine within this list you’ll enjoy and that will taste even better knowing your money is going to an amazing cause!

To honor Jerry Lohr’s late wife who passed away from breast cancer complications in 2008, J. Lohr Wines has worked with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. via their Touching Lives initiative for the past 11 years. $3 from every purchase of their Carol’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Grown in the St. Helena, Napa Valley region, this wine is largely composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, but Petit Verdot is included in the blend for its luxurious texture and blue fruit aroma.
Tasting Notes:
Savory fruit elements, like blueberry and blackberry, wrapped in hints of hazelnut, cocoa powder, and dark tea. Firm, dense, and linear in structure with red and blue fruits on the finish.

For every bottle of Victories Rosé sold, $2 is donated to Axis Community Health, in California to help provide breast cancer screenings, diagnostic tests, and case management for low-income women in the area receiving care there. The wine was originally created in 2004 by Olympic Gold Medalist Peggy Fleming and her family to raise funds for breast cancer research. When they passed the wine to Darcie Kent in 2013, she continued the tradition, locally. Made from Malbec grapes from the San Francisco Bay region, this medium-bodied rosé is fresh, floral, and fruity.
Tasting Notes:
Fruit driven, bright, balanced, and electric, you’ll taste watermelon, strawberry, and cranberry flavors dancing and mingling. This rosé is concentrated and intense, with pronounced minerality.

One Hope is well known for having a portion of profits from all of their wines go to various charities, ranging from animals to the environment and everything in between. Their Vintner Collection California Chardonnay and Carneros Reserve Chardonnay are two delicious best sellers that help fund clinical trials to find a cure for breast cancer.
Tasting Notes for Vintner Collection California Chardonnay:
Vanilla cream and intense citrus with a lasting meringue finish. Off-dry and medium-bodied.
Tasting Notes for Carneros Reserve Chardonnay:
Crisp tropical fruit, apple, and pear flavors with light floral elements balance this wine. Hints of vanilla pair with a smooth, lingering oak finish.

For the fifth year in a row, Chloe Wine Collection has been a proud sponsor in the fight against breast cancer with its Chloe Cares initiative. The organization partners with The Breast Cancer Charities of America, a leader in integrated cancer care, to support and empower women to prevent and survive breast cancer through their numerous services. For every single bottle of Chloe Wine sold during September and October, Chloe will donate $2 to the BCCA. Rest assured that if you’re drinking red, white, or both, the money from any Chloe bottle you purchase is going to a great cause.
